Technologies Overview
At Stainless Structurals America, cutting-edge production technologies fuel unmatched design flexibility and precision. Leveraging a suite of advanced methods—including traditional hot and cold rolling, laser welding, and the newly added hot extrusion—our company delivers custom stainless and carbon steel profiles in virtually any steel alloy or dimension desired. Our capabilities extend to crafting both standard and complex profiles—from open sections to hollow tubes measuring up to 36 × 20 inches and lengths of 50 feet—all engineered to multiple ASTM standards at our expansive Conroe, Texas facility.
Laser Welding (Fusion) Technology
A flagship, eco-efficient alternative to extrusions or standard weldments. Laser welding offers extremely tight tolerances, full penetration welds, exceptional joint integrity, and a clean, consistent surface finish. All sections meet ASTM A1069/A1069M standards.
Hot Extrusion
Used to produce complex or non-standard profiles in stainless, titanium, and specialty alloys. This process allows for a high degree of shape flexibility, uniform mechanical properties, and smooth surface finishes—ideal for profiles that cannot be made by rolling alone.
Hot Rolling & Cold Forming
Conventional methods for producing standard shapes and sizes, offering versatility and cost efficiency for high-volume runs.
Large-Scale Production Capabilities
Our Conroe, Texas facility (250,000+ sq. ft.) can produce custom profiles up to 50 feet long, with advanced machinery capable of monolithic weld penetration and precise dimensional control.
